BACKGROUND
Natasha Blackhawk was born a mutant, with a tracking sense and wings that allowed her to fly. She grew up on a reservation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and the tribe considered her blessed by the gods; she was revered. As she grew up, she felt the calling to live outside the reservation, and the obvious way was to live the life of a super hero.

At age 18, she left and adopted the identity of (Indian god from Eric's notes), acting as a super-heroine and maintaining a public identity. The family
was not pleased with her decision, worrying that what she was doing was too dangerous. She fought the good fight for about two years, until July 23, 1992, when she found herself at the "Battle of Detroit" against Dr. Destroyer. She was, in a way, one of the lucky ones, as Destroyer nearly killed her, but the result was that she was in a hospital miles away when Destroyer turned his cannon on the city and obliterated. The wounds were so bad that they were forced to amputate her wings to save her. Natasha lost her wings, many of her friends and some of her innocence that day, but she kept her life.

After years of physical rehabilitation to get used to the way her body moved without its wings, she returned to the reservation. In 1994, shortly after Millennium City was opened, she moved back there to begin a small professional investigation business. She was disgusted by the work and by the clients she had to work with, and began to teach herself electronics and the theory of building energy weapons.

In 1998, a new super-heroine and bounty hunter made the scene in Millennium City. She called herself Talon, and her true identity remained a secret. Using an uncanny sensory ability and some tricked-out weaponry, she fought local crime and tracked down bounties. Only her boyfriend, a Millennium City named Jake Adams, knew that Talon was secretly Natasha Blackhawk, back in the super-hero game but hiding the truth from her parents to protect them.
